Privacy Policy

1. No Screenshot Content Is Ever Uploaded

All image processing (OCR text extraction) runs entirely on-device using Google ML Kit. Your screenshots, extracted text, notes, search queries, and category names are never transmitted to any server — including ours.

2. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage events such as:

• App opens and screen views
• Feature interactions (e.g. screenshot saved, reminder set, search performed — but never the content of searches or screenshots)
• Subscription and purchase events (plan type only)
• Crash and ANR counts

Analytics is disabled entirely in debug builds. We never log screenshot images, extracted text, notes, search queries, or any document content.

3. Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

When the app crashes, Crashlytics sends an anonymous crash report containing the stack trace, device model, Android version, and app version. No screenshot or user-generated content is included. Crash reporting is disabled in debug builds.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free tier displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can opt out via Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

5. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

Purchase and subscription management is handled by RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your Google Play purchase receipt and subscription status to verify entitlements. No screenshot content is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Local Storage

SnapKeep stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Screenshot image URIs (pointers to images in your Photos library)
• OCR-extracted text
• Your notes and category assignments
• Reminder times
• App preferences and subscription status cache

This data is stored in the app's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
